Camping With The Girls...In A Yurt!!!

I and my beautiful sister, and her two amazing daughters with their children in tow...
Drove 3 hours to get to our destination...
Well worth the trip, so much to see in our vast beautiful Provence.

We rented a modern Yurt!!!
What is a Yurt???
That's exactly, what I asked my sister when she invited me...
The picture says it all...
click, HERE for info on Yurt...

We hiked many trails in this huge park, every were you looked it was breath taking...

Miles and miles of gorgeous wilderness.
At a rest stop, that was very high up we read this...
We already walked for about an hour and some minutes.
 Time for a family pic!

We all look a we bit tired, but forward we march...
Weary travelers march on....We have reached the Spirit Sands Dunes
One side of the sand dune, is the hard way up....
The other side of the dune was the easier side up...ya right!!!

Once over that huge dune, we enjoyed the view
and the girls had a blast running around in this soft sand.

                                                              click on...Spirit Sands

The moisture table at Spirit Sands, is not low enough to call it a desert...
but its the closest thing we have to one, in this enchanting place...

After our romp in the "desert" we payed a visit to a local museum...
This gorgeous "Queen Anne" is on two blocks of historic buildings in the village of Craberry,
with architecture dating back more than a century.

On our way home, we spotted this run down beauty...

photo from Reid Reid Reid
Sadly, it's just sitting there and wasting away. Its been unloved since 1960...
I and my sister both dreamily thought, if only we could buy it...
we would love it back to its original splendor!

That ends, a weekend Yurt holiday with my sis.and her family...

Next camping trip will be with my daughter and 4 grandchildren!!!
