A White/Blue Christmas

Its quiet the chore to change ones Christmas tree!
I used to have a red and gold tree, well still do..it's in the family room...
Leadings from my heart and the desire to always have a white Christmas tree with blue trim
Made me do it :)
Well here it is....
Bows,  buttons, and ornament are white, blue, and silver...
My snow babies fit right in...

What I didn't realize was that once you change the tree, all other
trimmings in the room must change as well...
All is well...There is time enough to purchase more blue...
The important thing is family!!! I am blessed to have
all 3 of my children celebrate with me...
(above) My youngest son Jake, strike's a handsome pose by my new tree:)
As does my youngest grandchild Elijah, in his blue P.J's
Mr.Santa in his red looks out of place...
I'll have to find a blue Mr. Clause.
Our white Lucy Belle says more blue is coming?
Pink like my nose would look nice too!!!
Maybe next year Lucy Belle....
Thank you
 Kathleen, White Wednesday@

for you Shmoo....

  2. I know what you mean about changing your decor. I changed EVERY Xmas decoration to PINK, BLUES, and anything pastel. I have a basement full of traditional Xmas decor screaming to come up. lol. But it's not. It saddens me when I see all our old stuff. The kids ornaments, their stockings, their paintings : (
But hopefully one day, they will decorate their homes with mom's "old stuff".
Your son Jake is a "cutie pie"... and I LOVE one piece P.J.'s with little feat.
Your blues are magical. And hello Lucy Belle : )

  4. Hi Grace,
So nice to have you stop by. I love your tree! I had blue with coloured lights on my tree for years when my boys were growing up. Now, I have a lot of pink! They don't like it but then they don't live here any more so I get to do what I want. :) I still have coloured lights on the tree but would like to go back to white again. Cute kitty!

    Christmas blessings,
    Sandi

  5. Your new christmas tree is just beautiful.

I have a white christmas tree this year too. (a little one)

I adore how you decorated the tree with the ribbon.

With your presents under it, it looks like a magazine cover.

    Well done.

  14. I love your blues! It is funny how you have to change everything once you change the color. The stockings are adorable. As is your grandson. And I agree - you have a handsome son as well. What a blessing to have all three of your children with you for Christmas. I will too, so I am happy.
    Blessings,
