House Update

and Mr.B have been so very busy with our new home in the country...We love our new German community and house, as you can see the floors are layed. Work still needs to be done like wall paper removel, painting, bathrooms, bed rooms ect,ect
... but Rome wasn't built in a day!

The new floors are all installed...Ivy (seal point Himalayan) makes her self comfy on the area rug.

Red accents are taking shape.
Get that pink window treatment down!!!

My newest purchase for the house, my Uttermost lamps!
Remember the wall paper that had to come down..well as you can see I am have a wee bit of trouble!!!
If any one has some hints on how to get stubborn paper down please do tell.

This old painting I bought about 10 years ago...I've put it back into good use.

The red colors look good in the living room.
I love the antiquity of this painting.

Mr.B works hard at putting things together, its a lot more work than I thought it would be!!!

...but my man does a great job with every thing.

My new double sink looks sharp,

and the pull out faucet is a dream!!!

Back splash soon to be done.

The travertine marble back splash is waiting its turn to go up in the kitchen.

This is my little bit 'O fun my hubby got me to go back and forth to work....

Now, that I and my daughter live so close together we and the kids can meet for a country breakfast... the Rise and Shine!

So there you have it....house buying, decortating, working full time, grandbabies, cooking...no wonder I dont have time for my blog.

Boxes and Boxes and More Boxes!!!

Well... we are moving to cleaner, clearer pastures. I and Mr.B. have bought a sweet house, that looks a bit like a Swiss Shayla...(see older posts) in a small predominately Low German city close to my daughter Heather and her family. You can visit my daughters blog at.........

My granddaughter Bylla found my packed shoe box, and came prancing out of the room were they were neatly packed in... with a pair of my stiletto boots on!

Hmmm...I cant even wear those things anymore!!! Here she is all balanced like a cute baby super model!

... A super granddaughter who made her Gamma laugh.

And, whats this???

Mr.B fell asleep while playing computer games with Lu. Not much packing going on here! Elijah is pulling himself up these days...soon he'll be walking, but I dont think I can get this little fella to help me.

There is so much to do besides pack.We have to make many decisions on how to decorate our new home. Flooring to choose, carpets for the rec room, window replacement, and the list goes on and on...

Here are some samples of the hard wood flooring we are looking at. I am partial to the lighter one to the left, it will go nicely with the new dark wood dinning set we are buying for our new home.

Well...I guess I better get back to packing, does'nt seem like sleeping beauty(Mr.B:) is waking up any time soon!!!
