My Award - My Grandchildren

I got an award...WOW! My first. I am so honored thank you Dreamgirl, from http://www.sweeterliving.blogspot.com/ I see that I have to revel 10 things that you may not know about me:))) thats me laughing. If you know me you will know my life is already an open book....well here it goes.





#1 First most important I am a grand mother for the 3rd time since last Tuesday...................



Let me introduce you all to Eli. my 3rd grandchild. He was born on July 28Th 2009 at 3:45 AM, my daughter was in active labour for 36 hours.

This beautiful bundle of joy has blue eyes and platinum blond hair his weight is 7lbs.14oz



How blessed am I too be a "Gamma" again.



#2 I have two other grandchildren Lu. 3 years old, and Billa. 21 months.


#3 I have a fixsation with eagles. I and my hubby have seen over 50 eagals in our 4-1/2 year marriage, and we dont even live in eagal country! I love them flying, sitting, on tv, in pictures, on coffee mugs, in art... This is a painting done bt R.S.Parker, that hangs over my bed.



#4I love the country Italy, and Italian food and wine, so much that I am begining to think I am part Italian... #5 But I am not Italian. I am low German through and through. As far back as Prussia.

#6 I am a shoe acholic...so is my hubby. 44+ and counting #7 I am a neat freak. Dont mess with my clean house!

#8 I work in a hospital







#9 I am shy in crouds...........
#10 I'm not so good, but I love to draw

    So nice to get you know! Congratulations on your new grandbaby! Eli is so CUTE!!!!! He looks like he's throwing you a kiss in the picture :) And needless to say your other grandchildren are adorable! And YES, Missy, you can draw!!! Lovely drawings!

    Oh Gracie Congrats to you and the family on little Eli. I can smell the new baby on him, just by looking at the pictures. I love his hair. He is so precious. What a sweetie, and we are still the boss at that age. Thanks so much for sharing him with me. He is beautiful. I love the eagles also. I think it is because the sore so effortlessly in the air, and their call is so beautiful like singing. I have always also admired their speed to get their dinner. There will be no waiting for them. They will yank it right up. Their talons held onto dinner so tightly. Just beautiful. See ya on Saturday. I bet I know what new pink item with show up on your Pink Saturday.     Congratulations on your award, and most of all on that beautiful new grandson of your he is gorgeous. Don't you just love holding him so very precious. Lucky you. Babies always smell so sweet. Tell his Mom and Dad they did good.

    Dear Gracie, So glad to meet Eli. Congrats on this beautiful Grandson! Eli is a beautiful boy and all that hair!!! Blonde even. I have never seen so much hair for a blondie. This tells me he is extremely special.
    All of your grandchildren are precious.

    My Dad's father came from Southern Russia the Vulga River area and my dad was born in Canada in Lethbridge.

My family is low German also, from Prussia. I married a Scot and added another dimension to the mix. Fun to know all these cute things about you.

    When my son was little I read Psalm chapter I and replace it with his name. For example Gracie like trees planted along the riverbank bearing fruit each season..

    Another beautiful baby to add to your family! I love to hold a newborn. There is just something so special about them. I think your drawings are great, I used to draw, but lost interest somewhere along the way. Love the shoes!!!

    Thank you for stopping by to tell me about Eli, and for your precious prayers. 36 hours...I had emergency c-sections with both of mine so I can't even begin to imagine the hard work and pain your daughter experienced to birth this precious miracle....I hope she is resting without pain....My sisters first son was almost 10 lbs and bless her...she really worked hard to birth him.
    CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR AWARD...IT IS JUST THE FIRST OF MANY TO COME. i LOVED LEARNING THOSE THINGS ABOUT YOU........YOU ARE A GOOD ARTIST....I am a self-taught artist. I really enjoyed seeing your art work.

    I love Italian food, and Italy is one of the few countries outside my own I'd like to visit
