Who are we, if not a combination of experiences, information, books we have read things imagined? Each life is an encyclopedia, a library, an inventory of objects, a series of styles, and everything can be constantly reshuffled and reordered in every conceivable way" Italo Calvino

Pink Saturday-Pink Gifts
This beautiful plant is a gift from my husband. I told him I joined this blogging thing called Pink Saturdays, I explained to him what it was all about. He is so sweet and takes an interest in things I do, so he bought this pink flower for me to blog about. I don't remember what it's called, I threw out the label..If any one recognizes this plant, please remind me:)
This pink sunset, oil painting is another gift from my husband, he gave to me shortly after we were married.
I wish to believe it is a painting of a small romantic country town in Italy, but I have been told based on the types of buildings in the art work, it's more likely to be based in Germany,I can not make out who the artist is./This ring was a Christmas gift, given to me by my daughter, she gave me when she was 12 years old...its from a bargain store...one would never know. She had good taste even at such a young age. This pink flowered picture frame is a gift from my gal pals. I put a picture of my daughter in it on her wedding day...shes wearing her pink wedding dress. This is a sweater I gave to my granddaughter,a birthday gift. It is hand made by a woman who owns a small business in our city.
Happy Pink Saturday to all.

ReplyDeleteI've been really busy with end of school events this week, and next week my daughter graduates High School. I couldn't find your email to send you a little note (I'm a computer dweeb so if its somewhere staring me in the face and screaming, I'm still unable to recognize it.) but mine is kimberlyscottage@att.net. if you send me a little note I'll have it to reply. Also, since you visited my post about my day at work, I'm sending everyone who visits a greeting card, if you'd like one just let me know where to send it and I'll send you one as a gift.
Abundant blessings, Kim
