HIDE AND GO CREAK - FRINGE FESTIVAL

Leslies husband has been working very hard along with a group of people in preparation for the Fringe Festival. They are rehearsing for a play called 'Hide and Go Creak', and I must say it sounds pretty funny. So for a good laugh and a little riske night out for just $8 come along and join some old farts to see a great show at the MTC Up The Alley, 174 Market Ave (entrance on John Hirsch Pl). They will be performing:

They have entertainment for all ages, activities, plays, art, food...

See you at the Fringe!

Wednesday July8 10:11 AM

You can find other 10:11 AM or PM shots at Sparking Gems
http://rhinestonememories.blogspot.com/
1 Have your camera handy on July 8th-this Wednesday

2 Take a photo of whatever you are doing when your clock says 10:11 am or pm. (we won't worry about timezones)

3 Challenge yourself to think outside of the box in how you take the photo or don't worry about that part and just snap one real quick!

4 Post the photo on your blog or an online gallery. Leave a comment on Domestic Diva's blog linked to your photo...a prize may be involved ;)

Well here it is my 10:11 AM shot.
I and my sister are walking through the Forks this morning to get to my appointment. The Forks is a multicultural center, a cool place to be, lots going all the time, and very old world too with many restaurants stores museums. On the corner of a stair way was this young man playing his bag pipes as a busker. I ask first if I could photograph him, he said yes and here it is. My 10:11 AM camera picture.

We Walked down town in order to get my pass port, and passed this iron sculpture done by the famous late Leo Mol. Theres always enough time to stop play...

Once we got business done we stopped for lunch and cold drinks back at the Forks and listened to bag pips in the back ground
Cheers from me, Tracy (Graciegirl)

Happy Pink Saturday with Shoesssssssss

First I'd like to wish all American bloggers a happy July 4Th.

With all the celebrating that is going on today, maybe a well shaped shoe is in order for all those July 4Th parades, or the parties and fireworks..........

So lets have a "look see" at a few pretty pink heels.

How about old world Victorian with a Pink twist

Or maybe pink feathers by Christian Louboutin.

Maybe something with bling, like these from Gianmarco Lorenzi

This is what I call a pretty shoe.

OK, this is just some kind of pink crazy to break your neck with!

A little pink culture.

Hmmmmm... 60's or 70's yuckiest???

Sultry, pink ooh la-la boots

Every ones summer time favorite's ...flip flops.

Feather on flip flops?

But, this is what I call Pink comfort!

Got to run now ...there's more pink creations to check out at Beverly's blog

Canada Day

Canada Day is July 1st of every year. It's the day that all Canadians enjoy relaxation while spending time with family & friends.

Posted by Picasa

It typically involves a BBQ
Many communities host Canada Day events and set off fireworks.

The Americans separated from British rule in 1768, and celebrate Independence Day on July 4th. Canada waited 100 years later, until 1868, to create the "Dominion of Canada". Independence Day celebrates the rejection of British rule and the United States becoming an autonomous country. The basis of Canada's celebration is founded on the formation of a new country and the union of provinces.
The holiday became a statute in 1879 but was initially called Dominion Day.
It wasn't until 1982 that Dominion Day was officially changed to Canada Day.
